Elissa’s January 2008 Psychic Newsletter

Happy New Year Everyone!!  We are all adventurers this year!! There are interesting people to meet in quirky defiant 2008, and good friends to make!
Writing about 2008 was a lesson in discernment, there are so many conflicting developments…it’s like our whole world starts tilting. Discernment is a good talent to develop in 2008, or one could drown in the details of everyone else’s life, not to mention the twisting fates of whole countries and the environment.  Terror and violence, scandals and revelations--whatever crazy thing happens, don’t forget to pencil into your schedule, rest and relaxation, things you enjoy, and that are truly refreshing. The key to inner peace is to set your own pace.
“Everybody gets theirs” sums up the possibly heavenly or possibly hellish human experience in 2008.  For good and for bad, many things come true now.  In its positive aspect, if you’ve been working hard for years on something that’s been successfully received, now you’ll get more success, reward, and recognition—this trend is a big plus for organizations such as www.freecycle.org and www.bioneers.org.  If you’ve been screwing anybody or everybody, now’s when the people try to tar and feather you.
A stand-out feature of this year is that it offers opportunities…all kinds! But there’s some kind of scramble or struggle to reach them, they’re likely to involve a very steep learning curve. The other good news this year is that as a collective, despite the shocks, people tend to become more loving and aware of each other, making real connections with each other in some brand new ways.
U.S.A. and the World:  Culling the newsletters for 2006 and 2007 for mentions of 2008, earlier predictions (“Courage stirs, chaos reigns, and in 2008, expect regime change!”)  would lead me to think a change-agent and practical type like Barack Obama wins the White House. Another series of earlier predictions about the waves of fall-out from David Fitzgerald’s prosecutions of the Administration officials would make me think Cheney could get impeached, or some trial takes place that relieves the public because they feel like justice is served, followed by a “contraction” in the U.S. that I would interpret as bad economic times. There’s also the idea of a surprise: I woke up from a dream one night in early December with the thought that there’s some kind of upset, things don’t happen as expected, but we still get a good one for president (a man).
The tense and weird astrology on Election Day in the U.S. indicates there could be yet another fraud-filled election. November and December have a tight stressful feel like we could get into another war. On a positive note, healthcare and education reform should be high on the agenda in 2009.
As the year gets going the mood goes from idealistic and denial-prone to realistic and telling it like it is. We will talk more about the housing market not coming back for years. However, difficulty is somehow contained, the really undeniable damage probably won’t be this year. The stock market may go way up at some point but it can’t maintain its position. Most notably, there will be many more jaw-dropping revelations of corruption and fraud in many high places. The public will be floored.
A large development that begins to unfold is Big Government, with more and more power concentrated into governments that then join together. A sign of this is the ambitious NAFTA Superhighway, basically shrouded from public view. Early in 2007, boarding a bus in Mexico, I plopped down next to an American woman ex-pat, and we began to talk—I’m always curious about why people leave their homeland. Her husband’s career had brought them close to Mexico City, where he worked for various international financial newspapers. “You ought to invest in Mexico because of the super-highway!” she volunteered. “They’re building a highway that connects Mexico to Canada and it’ll really boost the economy down here.” I came home and googled “NAFTA Superhighway.” There were many articles and videos about this ambitious government plan that the administration has more or less kept a secret. Supposedly, the highway is part of a plan to join Canada, Mexico, and the U.S. into a union like the European Union, with the “amero” as its new currency. Today I read in the paper that Republican Congressman Ron Paul was called a liar in the Washington Post for stating that the government was building this highway. Go google it and see for yourself!
Social Behavior: There’s something uncorked about 2008—people act out unabashedly and are unapologetic about their true motivations—no one hides where they’re coming from. Growth: Finding 2008 fertile ground for solution-seeking organizations, grass roots groups for social justice and ecological balance grow at a faster and faster clip. People get less complacent and more involved in their causes, and the downtrodden and workers of the world actively buck authorities for fairer treatment. It’s an active year where people demand answers, accountability, and justice.
And at the same time, Big Government is just getting going….

Places:  California gets stronger—there’s lots of building of infrastructure.  Maybe they get in better fiscal shape.  China, inspired and successful, keeps on going to a happier place than it’s been for centuries. Columbia has a more positive, people-friendly and liberating year. Venezuela is okay financially. (I wrote this before it came out that Venezuela has a new currency, I guess the message refers to the fact it works.)

Scientists
quietly go about being wildly creative but 2009 might be more of a true breakthrough time. Science is just about to connect with the ways to produce differently, creating a new era, but there’s still a ways to go. The explosive development of social and business networking on the internet is the same story: it’s a year of exploration and experimentation, but this isn’t the year it so definitely arrives.

Nature:
Sometimes something brand new pops out of Mother Earth! Borne by its inhabitants, Nature, or in some new way, new forms spring to life. Oceans get attention and help getting cleaner.

Guidance for Everyone in 2008

Big leaps in self-understanding are likely by the end of the year, but it’s also a particularly murky time when people must live without assurances, not knowing a lot about where things are going. The best things to have and develop this year are personal strength, and a cooperative relationship with others-- that’s much more useful than knowing a lot.
In 2008, your intuition will chime in at needed times to guide you—don’t stress that you don’t know enough about the future—how intuition works is to give you what you need to know when you need to know it—don’t decide yet if you don’t know yet.
Routing out the old and useless comes first, whether you’re a person or a collective. Let energy flow by apologizing to anyone you owe an apology to, acknowledging a past action that’s been denied, or forgiving someone.
Choose your fights, let almost everything go.  Snags can get ugly.
It’s crucial to read the writing on the wall, and then react to it—if something isn’t working, it’s best to abandon it.
Many plan for and consider radical departures from the past, both in their personal and professional lives. Career change is in the air.

Personal Success and Prosperity in 2008

The downfall of the self-employed in particular in 2008 is “Unattended Stuff.” Don’t let stuff accumulate! First tend to the present, then plan for the future.
Another downfall would be to not be flexible and willing to develop new skills.
To create a “beautiful business”, pay attention to detail. Quality products and quality service is what will succeed now and for many years to come.
Don’t try to expand your territory and make a lot of moves, get more organized and professional and enrich what you’ve got right where you are.

If you’re already in business, this is a “kick it up a notch” year, a betwixt and between cycle of getting in higher gear with better methods to reach a greater level of career success. Long term projects that have already experienced success get more recognition and into a better position now. It’s important to be ready for this. If you’re invested in something that has not been successful, this would be when to disband it and abandon it.

2008 Psychic Messages for the Astrological Signs and Elements
Read your Sun, Moon, and Rising Signs

Air (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius): You’re steaming ahead towards more powerful situations, and you’ll find out if that’s what you want, if it’s where you belong.  You’re right on the money with a new involvement, something you want to try. 2009 brings significant fresh and different opportunities.

Earth (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn): A phase of your life is ending and it’s a slow ending, but when complete you’re in a better space in all ways to move forward. Is there something you’ve always wanted to try? This looks like an opportune moment to do the unexpected, (but thought-of before.)  A lot of good order and new order, and everything is more elegant, upscale. Expect cooperation from others around mutual goals. You do get opportunities to communicate with and connect with people in new ways and establish yourself in new places. Go for it!

Fire (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius):  You’re trying to get on a higher plane of existence. You’re testing things out this year. There’s a lot of adjusting to do. There’s a calm that you have, a settled-ness—more of a willingness to persevere towards more clearly understood and deeply felt goals. What’s in better sync is your heart and spirit—you could make long term plans now, surer of yourself and your future. Travel benefits you, and there’s good news about partnership and love. April can see progress with a fond dream, and August is a breakthrough month. Being inspired by the highest visions for yourself will actually be easier than not paying attention to your potential. The year will work out great if you take the high road.

Water (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces):  When you go to act out your ambitions, you could be challenged by your own fears. If necessary, get help pushing yourself out into the new environment you want to be in, and everything will work out fine. It may not be right around the corner or in sight now, but exciting developments are on the horizon; you will certainly see what will make you happy.

Aries:  Don’t worry about details this year, focus on the basics, and what is clearly most important. What do you really need? Give yourself comfort, and make yourself comfortable. There are signs of greater recognition and career success, but there could also be a drop in income. Adjustments may be necessary to make things balance out.
Taurus:  It doesn’t look like you come to a solution about long-term matters this year. Freedom creates conflict at first and then in the long run, resolve. Stay steady, keep on going on an even keel in the direction that feels most where you want to be. 2008 calls on your strength.

Gemini: Opportunities Come. You are more independent, more accomplished, get more opportunities and make more money. You’re able to elevate yourself, feel freer and more accomplished.

Cancer: A year of art, creativity, and inner understanding. You have an opportunity for wonderful experiences—quite magical—going overseas could be great.  Some have a sense of looking for a home or place, not feeling connected, and this can take you far away. Getting things financially sure and squared away is a goal.

Leo: You venture into new things. Learning how to be more powerful in the world is coming to you as a subject, and you’re not necessarily prepared for it or know how to be in the world in a more powerful way. Your path could change now, where you were excited by new goals. To avoid like the plague: procrastination—do what you know to do for your self’s sake. The stars make you vulnerable in the areas of health and finances, so be prudent and protective.

Virgo: You have a happier social life, it’s a pleasant year.  You could take the opportunity to learn something new.  It may be necessary for you to learn a new skill for what the year holds. Learn anything indicated, from your iPhone to something that is like a stepping stone to the new place you want to go.
Libra: Expect to find better places to go, more opportunities. Don’t fuss with the unknown details of what compels you and seems to have a lot of positive signs to it. Be willing to change in a big way, don’t follow anything else.

Scorpio: It’s a more positive year all around, and you are rightfully more optimistic. You’re on your way to financial stability but there’s some conflict in the process or still some past difficulty to deal with. Encountering conflict is nothing new, just keep on going!
Sagittarius: You put a lot of effort into your goals in 2008,  however it’s an exploratory kind of year where completion is not what’s easily happening.  People will give you help and support, and you are also in the mood to push your own ideas,  looking for and finding more hospitable places in the world. The contacts you make now in new locations are very long-lasting and successful.

Capricorn: Bigger dreams, more challenges… Although it’s a great and fortunate year, it may be May before it picks up the speed that makes you think it’s great. You are willing to reach out in new directions. A partnership creates questions.. it looks like partnerships may cause you to take your life in new directions.

Aquarius:
For some, it is a really different year, with different thoughts about what you want to do. Like the other air signs, 2009 brings more new opportunities and solid success. 2008 can be a lot of work, a lot to shoulder. If you sense Herculean tasks up ahead, be careful of assuming too much responsibility…take it easy, have some fun!

Pisces: It’s like Spring, a new beginning…a faint sound, but a new life is just showing itself. “Faith and patience, faith and patience” bring your strong desires into being. You meet people and spend time happily away from home.

2007 Predictions and Horoscopes

2007
What Stands Out About 2007

I see 2007 in a context, a period when things appear to be okay but there are many signs of instability--and in relation to the future, it is looking like the last year before much greater change. Some of the instability looks like a very good thing—“re-ordering” and “karma in action” is what this year is all about, and sudden blows to the existing foundations of society could result in new orders that are more people-friendly and fair.
All in all, it doesn’t feel like there’s any base, any real stability--just karma unfolding. The consequences of our actions are clearer than ever, whether it’s in our own individual lives or how the collective impacts the whole planet. War is on-going and accident prone.  A shock or a scare is in the air, things happen that don’t make sense; all of these shock lessons serve to make us choose differently than those who came before us.
However, in 2007 people have lots of hope and very good ideas.  It’s a likely time for a person to find something to believe in, or come to believe in themselves much more. This is a year when individuals who have spent the last few years laying the groundwork for a life they love see their efforts bear fruit—they advance on the path and in the world they have created.
It’s also time for Nature to reveal some astounding secrets. New insights and discoveries made now unfold over decades. There’s a profound sense of newness about what people come up with creatively, and what science and technology can produce. Somehow by “speeding things up” a much wider range of products can be created. Scientists cross-pollinate with each others’ theories and the results are mind-boggling.(added January 14th when I finally got around to proofreading this: I see I left out something that kept coming up, that technological/scientific developments particularly impacted how things were made, manufacturing.) It is dawning on everyone that the world is becoming a completely different place to live in. A renaissance is gathering steam right under out noses.
The Pictograph:  The picture shows a message that came from the spirit world: “that this year, even as we continue to kill and scandalize each other, we will witness love in action, miracles and great acts of human courage and compassion; we’ll see that the world seeks to balance itself, and we’re promised that “peace at last” is an attainable goal. Peace needs to be believed in, and to encourage you to believe, this year the spirit world will give you an unusual number of signs and omens in your life, revealing life’s deeper meanings, guiding and inspiring you.” It’s like we get a big shot of inspirational and healing energy. In relation to the future, the picture also implies that 2007, almost submerged in water but still holding up (i.e. maybe it’s a rocky but okay year for the stock market) is the last year before an uncharted course in a sea of purifying, transforming events.
After getting feedback, I've added this interpretation, January7: "Clarification about pictogram’s spiritual message:  Two people emailed me wondering how I could think peace is a possible scenario —No, no peace in sight, I didn’t translate that message well. Here’s a better translation:
The message came in a cryptic poem, to point out a fantastic potential that’s already in the air where we create together for fun and profit, and that a much higher level of peace is necessary for the atmosphere to be right to do that, and it’s an attainable goal for people—it’s already in the air, like we’re meant to at some point get in this incredible dance and involvement with each other, massive creative acts.  So we shouldn’t give up, nothing’s more important now than the positive grassroots movements or the gain of personal peace. And to show us that there’s reason to believe in such a dream whenever it might be, or believe that there’s any kind of order or direction to life in response to your intentions, 2007 would be a year when there would be many signs and omens—2007 is personally meaningful and magical in the inside, chaotic and war-torn on the outside."

The Psychic News

Connecting:   More people use the internet in innovative ways, more countries with like-minded interests exchange info, people feel the urge to create with each other and the air is abuzz with activity. Fabulous projects abound worldwide.

On Planet Earth, water and fire make headlines

The U.S.A.: It looks like President Bush gets himself and us into some real trouble. Things do not go well with his policies. The administration sees the light later rather than sooner this year. Also, the Oh Cards show a shameful plot that’s been building for four or five years involving further invasion in the Middle East; it shows three or four people largely responsible for it, and that it is very strong. The Bush Administration and the world would in no way be prepared for the destructive consequences of further invasions. Taking the country in possibly a new direction, there’s a surprising action that makes a woman loom very large… some kind of upheaval and a new platform built—this sounds like Nancy Pelosi getting a lot done, or even ending up in the White House, or the long shadow of Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, or maybe just that women play a strikingly prominent role in politics in 2007. There’s the thought-form in the air of making the military an organization that primarily helps rebuild things.

China: China is furiously building infrastructure, but not the infrastructure we might assume. It has some new notion of China, it is thinking in different terms than we expect, they’re creating something very ambitious with their country.

Australia can experience more fires.
New Mexico: New Mexico’s quite successful fate begins to show. It is accommodating to powerful development, and develops powerfully. New Mexico’s a player!

Florida:  The state should spend money on wildlife preserves to attract a lot of people and not real estate.  That’s what Nature wants—Nature wants Florida.

Making the Most of 2007

Personal Challenges: “Peace of mind” is the only thing worth having and pursuing now… to have a personal oasis will be invaluable as we are all increasingly bombarded by stimuli. Treat yourself well, be considerate of others, and your peace of mind will increase.
This is a year to learn about the conditions in which you get the most done…follow and explore your own process rather than forcing yourself to perform , learn what works for you.
It seems that nature throws things at people who are dedicated to getting clearer. They are likely to attract karmic or personally difficult situations which require their participation. If this turns out to be true for you, all that matters is that your response is different than in the past, and that you’re learning better ways of dealing with things.
People will be separating themselves in record numbers from whomever and whatever they think keeps them from a better life. However, the process of change is a mysterious one—you feel enlightened one day and stuck the next. Be happy for your moments of illumination, don’t expect yourself to keep it up all the time, and have faith in nature’s circuitous route to a higher state of consciousness.

Success in Intimate Relationships:  While our connection networks create a worldwide explosion of creativity and cultural change, in 2007 intimate relationships do best when partners give each other some space.  A respite of solitude breeds success in love and creativity.

Social and Career Success: Plans can come together easily this winter-- trying to make creative endeavors happen is worth the effort.  In general 2007 is super-synergistic, a time when team efforts can produce spectacular results. It resonates with a time 28 years in the future, when young people’s creative impact on the world is truly transformative..
To succeed, be conservative with goals: make a small yard beautiful, don’t overextend with big plans. Make yourself comfortable.  Be cautious with money and deals in general—do things because of what you see happening, not because you believe in a certain theory or person. Most important, don’t over-plan and strategize, just do what you believe in and want to do, and see where it leads.

Psychic Messages for the Elements and Astrological Signs for 2007
Read your Sun, Moon, and Rising Signs

Fire (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius):  You could have the most successful ideas ever in 2007,  and they may be in different areas than you’ve applied yourself before.  They represent a big change for you and you might also be successful at dealing with change as a topic you present to others. Writing is favorable, any sort of media presentation. It’s about getting on the right and possibly different track, and a tendency to figure out more lucrative or financially successful strategies.

Earth (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn):  Like the message above for fire signs, you also have better ideas this year, especially ones in which other people participate, that involve partnerships and cooperation. Also, if something’s been due you for awhile, this is when you would get recognition or be contacted as in: “Yes, we would like you to do this, you are the right person.” You might be the right person for larger organizations and of course you benefit from their support.  Legal actions tend to work in your favor. Changing location looks good if that’s what you feel like doing and even short term travel is beneficial.

Water (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces):  You get chances, you get offers that are very exciting but that have a hidden demand of you: that you really be able to deliver in some way.  There’s a chance to travel overseas. What you’re exposed to through offers gives you a whole new set of inspired ideas. You’re kind of playing with the big boys. Offers and opportunities…it’s your time.  Where to put yourself physically is a question you want to answer, and it doesn’t look as if you get the answer. There’s something limited in your thinking, maybe you can’t recognize the best thing right now. Changes in the world could also change your thinking.  Be inspired but don’t’ try to figure out your whole life.

Air (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius): This is what you’ve been waiting for, a sense of peace about your creative ideas because they’re both aligned with your highest ideal and what feels like divine inspiration, and they make money. For those who make their own way in life, this new chapter you’re beginning is way smoother sailing. If you have any fears about the very workable ideas that occur to you now, feel the fear but try them anyway.
Individual Astrological Signs for 2007

Aries:  How to get lighter in 2007? How it happens is that you experience an inspired change of direction, something is giving you a new lease on life. You should have the opportunity, and should take it! to be in a more heartfelt direction by April. You might be dealing with health and legal matters where there’s a lot at stake; those who feel out of balance feel they have a long row to hoe to reach their goals, but they can do it, a way is shown.

Taurus:  How does Taurus arrives somewhere desirable in 2007?:  Patience, and waiting to be swept up in something that comes without effort looks like it has wonderful results, and is best for your health, and is most in tune with Nature. You just have to be willing to go with the flow, and things do start moving in new directions that you find desirable.

Gemini: How does Gemini reach its goals? Just keep doing what you have been doing, it only gets more magical, and gives you more possibilities. Trust the road that is most sparkly. Have some good trips!

Cancer: How to prepare for a new life, your different but also intense life?  In general, the next step of your life might be hard to understand: it  is like a bridge, getting you from one true direction to the next truer direction. It's not easy to get a sense of continuity, or what course you're on, but you muddle through beautifully when all is said and done.

Leo:  How to establish a confident voice in 2007?,  Be happy, go where it makes you happy to go, go and smile on others, be a “brightener”, involved in brightening activities with people and the environment. Who you identify yourself to be and how others see you changes, and you much more establish a position of authority. If you’ve tended to be hidden, you now tend to shine.

Virgo:  How to create a brighter future in 2007? For some, by making a leap of faith and a commitment to do something even though you may not feel quite ready, (and you’ll learn as you go to a successful conclusion.) This is the beginning of letting go of fear. Or for others, it’s the beginning of putting your attention on how to create a more certain future. Whatever you do, the safe choice is the one that is soul-satisfying.

Libra:  How to get figuratively and literally rich in 2007?: 2007 is about diving deeper into fulfilling places, getting deeper into good things, spending more time doing what you want to do. It looks good to ask for a raise, get a high-paying job, charge more money! Commit yourself to a powerful and growing circumstance.

Scorpio: How to achieve success in your location in 2007: Your location could be all over the place…do not be wedded to location but to opportunity. Going for the best story you’ve got leads to great change. Get carried away by your most positive dreams.

Sagittarius:  How to expand what you’ve got or taking it to the next level?:  This is a matter of time and circumstance, you are in the right place with the goods, flowing along, and it does look like opportunity comes to you--and if you’re ready,  you’ll have a chance to do things that make you happy.  …by being  prepared, but letting things flow easily, and knowing what you want—that’s how you take things to the next level. You will be  surprised by the simple way things can happen.

Capricorn: What can you look forward to this year? Finding more places and sources of happiness, perhaps a special someone that makes you happy. This is a year before a big change in your life. You’re hatching plans and getting places that have been in the works for awhile. For your own well-being, also do things and go places just because they make you feel good, because they’re healing, liberating, educating.  Re money: you already did a money spell, it’s already been cast. Not to sugar-coat your life, it’s a very challenging year, but you are up for it, the rewards are great, just make sure to balance work with deserved “R and R”.

Aquarius:  What is the way to belong, and where?  Your road has changed, the world takes you up, it wants to show you and teach you some things. Powerful directions emerge and you’re once again happy with your fate…make the most of it, don’t be late.

Pisces: How to walk in the direction of a clear karmic road, a more flowing life? By just dealing with what comes to you, that in itself is a mystical road. You don’t have to make many decisions this year because things do come to you. Be calm and glad for all that shows up.  Go visiting, and do whatever it is to take care of things that are on your mind so that you can be at peace. This year, taking care of things gives you an especially good feeling.

2006 Predictions
2006: "Truth-Fest" Manifests

Courage stirs, chaos reigns, and by 2008, expect regime change!
There’s not a flow to the year, it’s more like an intense logjam of karmic events, man-made and natural, erupting and unfolding around us. 2006 and 2007 are looking like the chaotic preamble to a saner world, where leaders are not only accountable, they’re eager to do the right thing! This unfolds over time, beginning in 2008. Now, people all over the world are riled about their conditions, and demanding respect from their governments. There’s no way to keep things at bay this year—the neighbors, other countries, are just gonna do what they’re gonna do, probably flagrantly. Volcanoes could blow their tops off. Rains rain and rain and rain. Right and left, people go beyond the boundaries imposed on them—there is no protection from the real truth of people, no wishing people wouldn’t “go there”, no denying what is. “Denial” is not a winning strategy in 2006.
There’s the wild possibility that on every level things will get jolted in our world. Nature and society can erupt, but it’s a formative time for new dreams, an easy time to break from what is familiar, if that’s a person’s or different countries’ desire. Things get re-arranged and new alliances are formed. For individuals, it’s the nature of this turning point that everything must be forgiven; change calls for great release this year, a willingness to let things begin anew. More than ever before, let go of the old and grab on to the new.
The Speaking Stones: The “might-makes-right” structure in place now exhibits weakness because it depends on everything staying the same. But nature conspires against it, things are going to change, the unexpected does not favor the old order. It’s the fate of the male power to go down, and it is surprising. And the new more inclusive and egalitarian order that’s on the march takes two years to move into a position of influence, and it’s all about making changes that make communities, from local to global, stronger. Women move into the center. The stones also said that although creative solutions, the unexpected, and world threats proliferate, they form a kind of “stable disequilibrium”, where there’s not a lot of movement in the world, there’s too many opposing forces, too much going on, for any clear direction to emerge. It looks like America is still in Iraq, that things only change with regime change here. Recent divinations are making me think there’s been a fundamental shift, perhaps because of leadership change in Iraq…what’s showing up now is that we’re going to make a lot of money by being engaged in the Middle East, or right now a lot of money is at stake and it’s a long haul but the powers that be have set their sights on making a big pile of money for a long time to come, by staying in this war and whatever else we’re doing outside the country. Citizens would have to decide the most important thing was to stop what they were doing and change the course of human history, to stop the power grab going on now.

The possible fate of the Bush Administration and America: Last October, when Scooter Libby got indicted by Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald, (wrote about it in December’s newsletter online), I also asked the forces, how did this all affect America, what happens in the country after these trials? The answer was: “A contraction in the country. Things falling in.” I asked the tarot the same question and it said that what was fulfilled by the trials was, “...balance, Justice, the law…what feels right, and what feels like the destiny of the place it happens in. Justice is served, destiny is manifest in America. It is stressful for America but there is a greater peace of mind afterwards, a relief."With the Bush Administration, there’s a sense of not knowing where they’re going, they are not “carrying on” or “staying the course.”

Hidden Renaissance: In the world of science, there is some new understanding about the most basic things about life, new basic rules showing up about our ability to create things. Things are lining up, becoming clear, and creating new possibilities…the real frontier in technological development is close at hand. We will be given reason to hope this year, as people use their skills and talents to come up with creative solutions to the worlds’ problems. There is some breakthrough in understanding what is going on at the deepest levels in the earth’s core. In the classical world of ballet, there’s a new development, it modernizes, expresses new things; talented co-creators in ballet come along, and they enrich the language and scope of dance. Music, art, and religion also thrive in the atmosphere of 2006, and new fire under community movements makes them aim to be “the little engine that could”. Everything is happening at once: a renaissance, holy wars, the fall of empires, and the rise of China.
Liberty Watch: Freedom fighters unite all over the world for their local causes, resisting regimes that don’t treat them with respect, staging protests, forming coalitions. Community-based movements go on the road. New leaders become very successful by respecting the rights and needs of the people. (I’ll have to send this newsletter to Evo Morales.)

Watch out! This is also an easy atmosphere to slide into dysfunction; the devil is afoot this year. If you’re judgmental, you’ll be wagging your finger all year long. If you’re fear-based or at war with yourself and others, you’ll learn how bad that can make you feel. I don’t really know where to put this next message, but I did get the feeling that Death comes on the scene in May, in significant numbers. Also, in the Northwest U.S., there was a lot of devastation, including to trees, like they were denuded or burned.
Personal Best: Bound to create drama in each of our lives, the energy of 2006 brings to our in-home movie theaters, whatever our own attitudes and actions lead us to. It’s really all up to each of us what kind of year we have—positive or negative--whatever we put our attention on will manifest. Be sure to cast yourself as the hero of your own movie, the artist on your own path.
From Outer Space: I continue to receive messages from off-the planet consciousnesses or beings, whatever they are, able to integrate their higher consciousness with ours if we are willing. Here are their messages from 2006:Towards a Better World:
1. Grace slips easily away; to remember grace, to act with grace and bestow it on others is a bright and beautiful thing to do in 2006.
2. The whole human web is frail…strengthen it by being accountable, it’s the grease for the wheels of the world.
3. Community Alert: Old people are in danger, and aggressive action is needed to stop the erosion in their lives, the overall drop in quality of life.
4. Everybody make your little community project! All the energy tied up in these projects is a loosely woven grass mat, taking hold.
“Lots of rain. There are some objects in outer space that could powerfully affect the earth, too, that are a surprise.” (It seems like there are a number of probable realities that give off pictures. I’ve had visions, for instance, of a completely changed world, the slate wiped clean, with people feeling very differently towards each other, like a comet hit us or something.) “What protects the earth is creative innovation, nurturing values. We will be mingling with the minds of the technology-makers among you…much new science is on the way.”I
n answer to my wondering how to deal with the suffering of others: “Well, we told you there would be suffering all along. This is what happens as a consequence of too much taking, not enough giving. Greed destroyed you this time. We are here to guide you, take your hand if offered. Everyone will get it from the inside. There are no leaders in this round of evolution, only inner directives.”
2006 Messages for Countries : More Russian immigrants come to the United States, and whereever they land they seem to improve the situation--they are a good influence.
Here are two messages from countries, like the spirits of the people are talking: "Yes, we are here, crowded in the room together; the lights are out. How long are we going to be here in the dark? We are the people of Israel, and we are in peril.” This is from a country that didn’t identify itself, but it said, “Below us are mighty jets, above us a scimitar - holy wars rage until the end.” (Looking at a map of the mid-East, this could be Syria; maybe it’s just the Mid-East Extremist sentiment.) There was also the sense of the Al Queda expanding south into smaller countries, and something bad happens in Egypt.
Brazil could be rocked by scandals – they need to be alert to unscrupulous people coming into or taking power.

Psychic Pictograph for 2006 The meaning of the 2006 pictograph (see top) eluded me for a long time. I think it points to yet another scenario…this year gives off pictures of many possible futures, much is not decided. The pictograph is the most hopeful, though. It says: It looks like the dark and the light in this world are running neck and neck, but because of surprise developments (the red present that also looks kind of like a bomb all wrapped up), The Light pulls ahead. Also, it’s an elegant and arty cultural scene this year, the price of gold goes up, and a lot of healing takes place in people.
New Mexico: Governor Richardson is on the move, gettin’ fancy—he’s on a roll. Native American tribes get more self-sufficient, successful, and politically powerful. New Orleans: Don’t give up on New Orleans yet, it could turn out to be that conflict and destruction precede healing, an unfolding rebirth, and we witness over time its willingness to change and be born anew.

2005 Predictions
2005 Psychic Predictions
2005
Dear Friends,
Another wild year up ahead!! And this is just the beginning of remarkable changes we will witness, just wait until 2006. We must all be drama junkies to have chosen this time to incarnate on planet Earth.
So take care of yourself, breathe deep because the air itself is full of new ideas, compassion and love, even as our country is busily pursuing short-sighted goals, and I hope to see you or hear from you sometime soon.
2005 - AN UNPREDICTABLE YEAR
For the last few newsletters I’ve gotten an image or phrase that’s like a psychic sum-up: in 2003, it was "We learn the hard way" ( by going to war in Iraq). For 2004, it was the image of a California Valley Girl surveying some difficult to fathom, emotionally overwhelming scene that I now associate with the tsunami, saying, "Oh..My..God!". The image for 2005 is fast-moving, silent waters swirling in different directions, uncontrollable - an unstable environment. There is no judgment, no permanence, everything gets a chance to express itself, no matter how extreme. "In the name of balance and justice" are the words I get, it is a violent, creative, intense year.
Just like a person, there’s a whole other side to 2005, and that’s its luxurious spirit, its propensity for glamour and glitz and fabulous art happenings. People will want to have fun in the sun in 2005, even if there are dead bodies washing up on the shore. To "luxuriate in fullness" is what Nature intends for us - if you’re having a terrifically fulfilling time, don’t feel guilty, you’re in tune with the spirit of the times.
There are so many new creative industries this year, we’ll just be getting an idea of how different the world can get.
Peace, and our collective wish for happiness, is like a dream that is trapped and opposed, but it’s still at the core of things. Peoples’ individual reality is that it is a year for personal rejuvenation and creativity. Patience will be the most needed and valuable virtue in formative 2005, it is a virtue that wins in all matters this year, in business, and love.
Possible pitfall of going a long ways down the wrong road : To trust someone or something that doesn’t exhibit stable behavior could be your great loss. Pay attention to how someone acts, not what they say - it’s possible to go through a grueling experience because in one way or another you weren’t paying attention to the signs.
In summary, the year brings change and transition, when all kinds of emotional and natural forces are off their leash and free to express themselves. A great time to pursue what you are deeply moved by, excited about, secretly good at, what you want to try. It will be a "waste of time" time to be judging anybody including yourself, it’s all going to change anyway. The challenge is to accept people and things they way they are, to not need a certain outcome out in the world. This is the time to make peace in one‘s own heart, and not expect it to exist anywhere else.

Intuition Lesson for 2005: What is a "Yes, this is right for me" sensation in 2005? It is not the pulse-racing sensation of taking a risk, the adrenaline high before you jump, it is a sense of peace, and calm, a sense of certainty. I wouldn’t take a risk otherwise.( What if there’s something that sounds great, like a promotion or a trip, but that you don’t have a good feeling about? What if your intuition gives you information you don’t like? )Lesson Number One: What you want, and what your intuition has to tell you, are often two different things. If you get an inner directive, a knowing, a voice or a feeling with a message that may not be what you have been expecting, do not try to make your intuition back down from what it just told you, or try to deny it. Don’t start thinking what a terrible person you are for having such a thought. It’s like bullying your eyes for what they saw, or getting angry at your nerves for feeling.
Your intuition is always right the first time. It’ll be harder to get your intuition to tell you the truth if you try and twist the message to one you like. In this year capable of quick change and surprise, have a little conversation with yourself and welcome the Instant Knower Within to tell you whatever it thinks is important for your well-being.

What’s New in 2005 -The Underground Development of New Industries and New Movements
To tune into 2005 is to pick up on brand new sensations, perceptions, feelings, alternatives, new songs and rhythms; and that a significant industry is being born this year that has a new perspective about how things are and how things work. Also in gestation is a new social movement that seems to surface in 2006. The channeling about it is: "Many many new ideas and inspirations and perspectives come into 2005 like slithering snakes from the East, and they stay underground for a year, and they feed off what choices people make, the direction of things, and then, manifest as a very strong phenomenon, full-blown, in April of 2006. "Another related message is: "It is a strong and original human expression, an innovation is in the wings, we are really on the road to a new community. It is a long, indiscernible at first, road. And our willingness to appreciate life, rather than deny life, is what guides it."

2005 as revealed by different divination systems
Please see the pictogram above showing what stands out about 2005. My interpretation is: 1. Artistic energy is powerful and expressive. If you ever wanted to see how artistic you can get, this is the year to make the changes and arrange your life so you can try it. If you really want to forge ahead creatively, you will be making sacrifices so that you can explore your talents and inner resources, such as: do not let much in from the world: be impermeable. Pay attention to your own visions - don’t listen to gossip and news. Try to do and materialize whatever you care about no matter what the outcome, whether it’s good at first or not, whether you get to finish it or not. 2. We are ruled by an oligarchy, and in the world it rules, there is a lot of agony and excess, with people acting out in orgiastic ways. Now there are "Oliphants", someone who’s like a sycophant for the oligarchy, a "yes man"; it’s a new kind of pose people take to make themselves feel superior. The college students who recently sued their professors for stating anti-American liberal views come to mind,or people who care about gay marraige - people eager to punish those who are different.3. "Emissary of Light" type beings from outer space, some form of higher consciousness, are on the horizon. Please see the psychic birthday card for 2005 above. It shows something being celebrated over in Saudi Arabia, Egypt - maybe they are making oodles of money. In the U.S. especially, this is a planting and gestating year, both ideas and organizations are growing underground.
The Speaking Stones

My stones first formed a big "question mark" to stress the "surprise" element of the year. A lot of new skills and talents and creative industries are a part of the scene this year, but everything really needs to be perfected, and there’s more technical expertise available to do that. It’s so much more important to do , to start, to try, than to be perfect at something - people will have to give their all to their work, knowing it will fall short of the eventual mark. There are a lot of hidden agendas and hidden feelings that surface this year. There’s a tremendous purging of karmic, ethnic relationships and connections, and a lot comes to light. Horrible truths come screaming out. New alliances are formed. Compassion and nurturing tendencies come out in the collective. Older cultures are more valued this year. But what is still grasped too tightly is the past, there’s no room for all the groups there used to be. There are many elephants in the living room this year, such as America being in many places around the globe it doesn't belong, the potential for craziness i.e. nuclear accidents in North Korea, the rolling back of American civil liberties and environmental protection by the Power Elite. But it’s such an uncontrollable year, it’s like everyone’s watching things blow up, waiting to see what happens. Playing the role of enforcer is a losing one this year. If the USA can’t manifest success by 2005, they should give it up - there’s only this year’s worth of money to put into Iraq and then it will cause huge financial problems to continue. To assume responsibility for more than we can handle causes great sacrifice, and "progress" now comes at a great loss. Men worldwide might be sacrificing themselves for eight more years. May you have peace in your heart in 2005...it will be the island in a sea of change. Below are specific suggestions for cultivating peace within.
