About Intuition
The dictionary definition of intuition: “Immediate apprehension or cognition”…in other words, one just knows. It happens to almost everybody some time or other… “the power or faculty of attaining direct knowledge or cognition without evident rational thought and inference.”
Whether here in my office in Santa Fe, New Mexico, or anywhere else in the world via telephone, people ask the same questions about their own psychic experiences. Here are a couple of common questions people ask about their intuition:
“How do I make my intuition work at will? I can’t make it happen when I want to.“
You can get an intuitive answer to a question from your own self, but it depends on what question you ask, and how. For instance, “When am I going to get married?” likely gets no response from your intuition, but getting quiet, breathing in a nice, easy rhythm, and asking your inner self to give you guidance about love and intimate relationships, will get a response. Count whatever response you get as an answer. If no ideas or pictures ever come, it’s telling you first, communication is blocked and you need to establish a closer relationship with your intuition and inner guidance. You can try these two guided imagery exercise–they’re designed to help you access intuition and spiritual guidance.
“How do I know it’s not my imagination?”
Your imagination is not always in your best interest, but your intuition is, although sometimes it’s not clear at first why your intuition led you where it did. We are complicated creatures. Your imagination is what you use to be receptive to your intuition: it responds to guided imagery and any process where you suspend judgment, enter your imagination, and let the Universe, your own body, or a spiritual being talk to you. Since the intuition is designed to navigate towards heartfelt desires, you can trust its snap judgments–they are meant to allow you to flow and dance with life. And sometimes skip gracefully away before it’s too late.
Your intuition is able to supply a steady flow on an “as-needed basis”, of appropriate responses, impulses, and understandings. It takes its cue and gathers data to present to you, generated by the shifting intentions of your many-faceted self. On the other hand, you can imagine someone is not talking to you because he/she wants nothing to do with you, when in fact the person had laryngitis for two weeks and was not returning messages. If you have fears that feel like intuitions, test them out by asking your intuition to give you input on your fears. Form a question for your intuition about it, and then ask.

Spring 2011 Psychic Astrology
The first weekend of Spring 2011 began under heavy skies astrologically, with earth’s denizens prone to fits of remorse over what’s been lost, and fully feeling under the SuperMoon’s influence, wherever they are in life. Let’s hope it’s on solid ground…or planted now in the new earth of lessons learned.
Haiku:
Spring comes no matter what,
The buds on the dying tree,
Can’t wait to open.
Spring Sez:” I will not get in order!
I won’t do it! I won’t behave!”
Do not look to the world for consistency this Spring, look only to yourself to establish internal order. All bets are off on anything else in the world behaving as expected.
The Mood: It’s an emotional Spring and not always easy to bear up. Be good to your friends and strangers too! There arises in many a profound loneliness, and a deep yearning to connect.
The Future: Gleaming in the distance is innovation–it appears to trump destruction.
Planetary Guidance for Spring Success: The full moon conjunct Saturn right before the Spring Equinox, says among other things: “Fulfillment requires sacrifice. Be attentive to the details and what people require of you; take the actions that anchor your world.”
These planets also signal a cyce in which depression is common. This is where play dates, group activities, volunteering, and getting involved in your community come in. Counteract the tendency to isolate by planning activities with others.
Lessons learned fertilize new growth: People begin anew after trying something (or someone) that didn’t work: On the heels of life lessons comes new growth.
Spring 2011 Psychic Messages for the astrological signs
Read your Sun, Moon, and Rising signs
Fire signs (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius): You belong doing whatever you do out in the world; travel is likely this Spring. You’ll be setting up business at a distance and establishing your brand! You’re in a better mood. Trust your good intentions and desire to give what you’ve got: you are meant to add to the world this Spring.
Water signs (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces): Time is likely to fix whatever is happening that’s difficult in the beginning of Spring. If you don’t respond as if there’s an emergency or react defensively, issues tend to fade away. Hand your problems over to the Universe to solve…this is the time to make peace with people around you, and transition into situations that give you more peace of mind.
Air signs (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius): It takes courage to be true to yourself, to perhaps leave behind what you’ve known, to go towards what gives you more… you may need to leap on a faster-moving train to a better destination. The good news is, you can know what’s right for you: you should receive signs about where and what supports you…go towards that!
Earth signs (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn): The Sun shines on your Spring, creating success through connections with others, new projects and relationships–yet another omen means you might have to get by with less money. Even though in the short term money can be tight, and there’s a sense of not knowing if your efforts will bear fruit; even if something is put on hold, the signs are still positive and efforts lead to success. Keep the faith, keep meeting people, stay connected and take action.

Full Moon messages and a spell to do
This weekend is tricky–stick with what your tummy likes you to think about. No “shoulda woulda coulda” and don’t look back: at this juncture of Biblical proportions, remember the story of Sodom and Gomorrah when a person could be turned into a pillar of salt if they turned to the past and dwelt there even for a moment. Whatever turning into a pillar of salt means, it can’t be good.
Think of gains only re the past: Important lessons have been learned from recent events. To come out ahead in this highly charged atmosphere, think about any situation only in terms of what you have gained. (If it’s hard not to dwell on the past, try counting up what you’ve accomplished for yourself in the last couple of months; write down the changes in behavior your recent experiences lead you to.)
The forces are extreme: when we get annoyed at ourselves or others, we get very annoyed. To abort energy drain, “choose peace over power”. Is it more important to have inner peace than be right? Let your inner mind give you a way to deal with the situation so you can let it go. (If it doesn’t, try one of these guided imagery exercises to help you.)
Be careful: how the forces fuel chaotic thoughts, compulsive behavior, or being constricted or infuriated, has unpredictable consequences…you could lose a lot.
A good use of your time metaphorically speaking, is to just be planting your garden, tending to the order of what you want to grow, making the rows neat, trimming things, giving new life hope, and a place to grow. Maybe it’s a day to clean out your files…in some way make room in your life this weekend. Do what you can accomplish with a light heart, and avoid conditions that create an inner conflict, if possible.
The Supermoon, looking bigger than usual because it’s unusually close to the earth, is in Virgo and that means it can be “put to work”. One can channel its super-duper energy to carry one over the top to another level of organization. Try this full moon magic spell to first lighten up and then light up!
1. Tomorrow night, preferably as the moon is rising, “Capture the light”: Close your eyes first, and get in your mind the vision for yourself you want to enliven: you’re happy, you’ve moved, you’re working…whatever development you want to see. Take your time and get a good strong image you can feel. Open your eyes, and drink in the light. Bathe yourself in the moonlight.
2. THEN: Mentally empty yourself of the past, whether good or bad things have happened, momentarily let go of whatever has already taken place. Let go of anything that’s already happened, and again, feeling emptied of the past, take in this full moon energy that is like food for your dreams and goals. See if this conjures up any more mental pictures of you that are healing, supportive, and make you feel stronger.
3. begin: It’s time! With your learned lessons to guide you and firmly resolved to not get lost in the past– energized by the full moon and your clear priorities–feel free to live a lighter and more enlightened life. Your chest should feel more open now, and that can only be good!

The Ubuntu greeting and how its philosophy is healing
In Durban, South Africa, according to the preface of Ubuntu!, when two men meet cross paths in a rural area, there’s a moment of anxiety if they come from people who’ve been at war with each other, but then it passes, as they place their trust and self in their greeting to each other, and the big smile they give each other: the first one says, “I see you.” And the other one answers, “I am here.” and they are speaking their belief that a person is a person only because others recognize him–only because of our connectedness, are we people. So one acknowledges the other, and strengthens the connectedness by saying “I see you.” I recognize you, I am me because of my connection to everything, or everyone. Only in connected being-ness do we exist, and in a sense bring each other into being. So the basic move of acknowledging the connection due to the very nature of our being, rather than any story, is a healing philosophy in action.
I didn’t read this book …I was on a walk in downtown Santa Fe, it was like Spring last night! and everybody was strolling and talking, some in shorts and sandals. The library was getting ready to close…I ran in to the “New Book” section and read the introductory story in Ubuntu! by Stephen Lundin and Bob Nelson. It’s about teamwork and cooperation in business, Ubuntu style.
“Choose peace– and to move forward, you must let go.”
That about sums up what’s in the air, at this powerful time when the forces of nature and man have unleashed themselves all over the world.
Lately I’ve been climbing up a hill above Santa Fe first thing in the morning, to tune into the day and see what messages I might receive, and sometimes I’m given spiritual guidance for people in general..what stands out about last Saturday’s directive was the certainty that right now, it really mattered what we were wittingly or unwittingly choosing in our lives. It boiled down to two directions, “peace”, or being willing to be conflict. They begat very different fates.
“Choosing peace” didn’t necessarily create calm in the short term, but allowed peace of mind for you. To “choose peace” is to choose actions that promote harmony between people….To choose to speak to your own self with respect, to honor your nature and your heart’s desire. To choose peace above all in personal relationships, rather than choosing to be right.
Accompanying that directive was the personal action that would secure the right path: “Let go of the past.” One just had to let go of the past and its hold on their mind and emotions. The pay-off for being at peace is then a person can focus on creative things and what they want to grow. Buoyed by the tremendous energy set loose by the planets, a determined person can go far at this time–this is true if one’s willing to assume responsibility for one’s light. Which many more people are getting ready to assume….
Do you remember all the talk in the ’80′s and ’90′s about the 144,000 spiritual “warriors of light”? It was the morphogenic field theory in action, with 144,000 committed spiritual warriors being the tipping point that ultiimately will lift us en masse to a higher level of consciousness. Maybe we’ll live to see that urban myth come to life!
“This is when we choose” was the dead-serious pronouncement toning in the atmosphere. Whatever “choose peace” and “let go of the past” suggest to you, may you be setting your happy self in motion in these powerful March winds, creating true stability, and what you want for your future.

More on March 11th astrology, and a creative spirit’s message
I swear, a genie has been playing with my postings….the recent article quoting Eric Teissedre about Uranus going into Aries, had “Jupiter” going into Aries in the title, I just changed it.
Today is the day Uranus enters the sign, coinciding with a big Mars, (Aries’ ruling planet) event of the 8.9 Japanese earthquake March 11th, 2011.
Eric Teissedre had more to say about the astrogical climate on his March 4th ShamanInsight blog:
“The outer planets tend to reflect the masses at large. Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto are all on a cusp. Cusps create tension. There is a pull between two signs. This can show dramatic changes with leadership around the world. Uranus, which tends to be a physical planet, often showing revolution, war, and upheaval, is now entering Aries, which by its’ own nature, is very war-like. This explains the upheavals of the Mideast but also the tensions in the United States. Nothing political ever happens without there being a financial reflection.
These aspects can also affect business. There is a tremendous amount of change coming to the business world, with companies being taken over, struggles over rulership, and even a certain amount of revolution from the public in regards to being manipulated by business. I even perceive a certain amount of rebellion against technology, which in its’ own way, is constantly changing its’ rules. Some companies are being somewhat dictatorial.”
Sounds like hellzapoppin’ out there…what about its effect as an energy, on making good things happen for oneself?
Another planetary aspect coming up, Neptune going into Pisces April 4th, must be mentioned because it is a potent medium for psychic and creative development, and it figures into this message about Uranus and Neptune changing signs: The energy can make people just take the bit between their teeth and run with it, run with what they want and make a dash for freedom.
Message from the Spirit of Creativity: “So, don’t disappoint yourself! If you have particular goals and dreams, stick to what you think will make them happen and don’t waste the volatility of the winds, which create such drama like today’s events, by gawking or dawdling. The trick is to stay focused on the Sun: what you want to grow; and to practice stilling yourself more than usual.”
