Eclipse May 20-June 4 2012

I want to share the insights of my remarkably accurate prognosticator and colleague, psychic astrologer Eric Teissedre. We were emailing back and forth about the psychic astrology of this eclipse season, May 20-June 4th, 2012, and he had some very intriguing things to say about how to handle eclipse season, President Obama and the direction of the presidential campaign, and how this is a time like no other to “be yourself”, a more empowered, enlightened self:

Eric: “The ruler for my reading was Mars. Mars gave me a sense that it was speaking about initiation, self initiation and even changing one’s road if they felt it was necessary. Looking at these signs , I felt many needed to just focus on themselves in a way they never have before. Mars can rule processes. If you are not happy with the way things are going, try a different order or method of doing something. This would be a time to evaluate your processes. If you are unhappy, perhaps changing an approach would be appropriate.

This is particularly true of anything related to work. Even in a time of corporate structure, we need to feed those elements that are unique to self. In fact, find where your talents are indispensable.”

According to Eric, President Obama’s solar traits, being a Leo, include being able to remake his persona:

“Obama is quite likely to resurrect like the phoenix and have some strong charisma and once again, is working a magic he is famous for. In past readings, I used the word “secrets”. He is a man of mystery. No one is sure who he is, where he is from, or what his affiliations truly are. Still, he is like a flame and will appear brighter than ever when he wants to. He will suggest that those times we do not see him, he has been working secretively to defeat the foes of America. At least at a time of an election, this might have some persuading power, and who knows, it might be true.”

Eric’s eclipse predictions: “Eclipses are often associated with new beginnings, especially a new moon eclipse, which occurs on May 20, 2012. Eclipses often intensify the energy considerably. They are used in India specifically for energizing mantras. Chi Gung masters who have a magical

understanding of chi, will choose these times to bring a huge current of chi into their body, especially the full moon eclipse. That is on June 4.

These eclipses being in mutable signs of Gemini and Sagittarius can mean two (different) things. For people feeling unbalanced, they should lay low. For others, it can be a powerful time of consciousness, meaning your mind is working more profoundly than usual. There is always a warning and that is, if you are overwhelmed generally, then eclipses will overwhelm you more. If you are clear, then eclipses will act as a powerful tool for charging.

In India, certain practitioners remove themselves from society and attempt to reduce the stimuli of society as a means of becoming empowered. By being centered, and mastering inner energies, they gain the power to control spirits and forces. Eclipses for these people are considered to be a specific empowering time.

Eclipses act as triggers. It is my intuitive impression that they really kick-start the beginning of this year’s elections. It was my feeling that this was the time that Obama would come forward with more explanation in regards to what he has been doing behind the scenes, especially on June 4, the full moon. I sense that as being significant.”

“Luckiest Day of the Year” Falls on Mothers Day

Coincidentally, today’s celestial conjunction of the Sun, planet of success, with Jupiter, planet of good fortune, falls on Mother’s Day. All by itself, this conjunction suggests that big, positive developments can emerge now in a person’s life, if they have made a way for them to manifest. (Or a way is made for a person now.)

Whether male or female, young or old, with Jupiter conjunct the Sun on Mother’s Day,

In the wind today is an affirmation, though, about the hidden power that social activist Paul Hawken calls our “blessed unrest”. It’s the worldwide movement of people engaged in enlightening their own individual selves, or working together in grass-roots collectives to bring about enlightened social and environmental change.This volcanic year activates many “warriors of light”:

May 2012 Eclipse Magic

Dear Friends,

I spent a few days in Arizona at the end of April, attending the yearly conference of the Seven Ray Institute and their esoteric teachings. They hosted speakers from all over the world, and the bubble we formed at our nice hotel was full of inspired and inspiring people, reporting on peace-loving projects and forward-thinking visions. Although a Wisdom School teaches arcane knowledge, many of the conference speakers were in the mainstream of science and society, working through organizations to help people change and evolve.

There’s lots to report on in May’s skies–a solar new moon eclipse, Venus retrograde, and looming close to May’s border, a lunar full moon eclipse in Sagittarius. Whatever you do, carefully direct your energy in the beginning of June…that is no time to be loose with your words or actions.

MAY 2012 PSYCHIC GUIDANCE AND PREDICTIONS

What does it take to bring change? Whatever it takes, people will try it! San Felipe Pueblo Feast Day and Corn Dance May 1st

San Felipe Pueblo is the place to be on May 1st, for a true cultural experience of Native American drumming and dancing. Along the banks of the Rio Grande, San Felipe pueblo is about half an hour north of Albuquerque and 45 minutes south of Santa Fe, off 1-25. Their annual Feast Day dances start around 10 am and go until about 5 pm, with a long lunch break.

It’s wonderful just to walk along the river’s edge under the big cottonwoods. Be sure to visit the church right in the center of the pueblo with its striking gold and black tile work.

New Moon in Taurus: time to nurture and protect your dreams

New Moon in Taurus

The next two weeks’ Taurus new moon cycle (April 21st -May 5th) highlights doing things that produce something concrete. For many that might be putting in a garden, moving, developing better living systems, etc. A person can see what they have to go through and what they must do to produce results. People naturally know how to get things done when the new moon is in Taurus.

Old souls with lots of practice are likely to begin projects in this new moon, a chance to bring forth a polished and beautiful offering.

However, distractions abound. In the air now and in the near future is a lot of indecision, unrest and unquiet. The energy is high and erratic. It can take fierce focus to stay on schedule. Creative success can be like a hunt: a wise owl with eyes on its prey, centering laser-like eye-beams of energy on what he wants.

With any production, assume its success. Have the attitude that you’re creating success and you’re seeing it. Don’t be doubtful in this cycle, but act out what you want to happen.

Personal Guidance: Try to ignore emotionally charged situations if at all possible (I’m right, you’re wrong). Paid attention to, they can produce a lot of misery now.

Personal healing journeys can bring up a lot of emotions but the healing tends to be deep, thorough and complete.

It’s best in this period to just connect to the love and the loves in your life–only that deserves attention.

The new moon in Taurus is ruled by Venus, suggesting we should be graceful and generous in anything we’re beginning and with people we meet. Venus says, “Smile a lot, and give more that you take.” This strategy can work wonders in the coming months.

Earth Day Extravaganza at Chavez Center in Santa Fe this Sunday

There is truly something for everyone this Sunday at Genoveva Chavez’s Earth Day extravaganza. You could get a free sapling tree, dance outdoors to the rhythms of a live West African band, watch the movie “An Inconvenient Truth”, take home a couple of recycling bins, do a recycled art project (for kids and teens), and learn to exercise with hula hoops! This and more will be going on from 9:30 am to 5 pm at the Genoveva Chavez Center in Santa Fe, off Rodeo Road. It’s the best free show in town!

If you can’t make it this weekend, there’s an Earth Day celebration next weekend at La MontanitaCoop, 913 West Alameda in the Solana Shopping Center, Saturday the 28st from 10 am to 3pm. Four bands are scheduled. Here’s a description from the Coop: “All are welcome to come, enjoy and participate in these FREE community gatherings. At all the Co-op spring festivals you can expect a wonderfully inspiring time with information and education booths from dozens of environmental, social and economic justice organizations and local farmers. Santa Fe Institute’s Intuition Lecture Frustrates Intuitive

There was a Freudian-slip like typo in the Pasatiempo advertisement for this event. The headline read: “Appealing to Institutions: why we can’t get along without them”. (It should have read: Appealing to Intuitions: why we can’t get along without them”.) Perhaps no one could believe in the pairing of The Santa Fe Institute and “intuitions”. “Institutions” sounds so much better! If I’d seen this before going, I would have probably had the psychic flash the lecture was going to stick to the dismissive party line.

Speaking of intuition, I wonder if last night’s guest speaker on Intuition took a deep breath before speaking, to tune into her audience and get a feel of their level of shared comprehension? Concepts and descriptions were put in a way that tired my brain in no time, which happens when I’m confronted with too many allusions to a knowledge base I don’t have, or language that relies heavily on unfamiliar schematics. I short-circuited after about 20 minutes and got up to leave.

I did retain Ms. Rebecca Goldstein’s initial description of intuition, though: A person can feel struck by the truth of something as if they’re struck by a bolt of lightning, so sure their intuition is true and real. An intuition engenders a state of belief that “floats above reason.” Another person can have their own intuition about an opposite thing, and it also strikes them like a bolt of lightning; they know it to be true. In other words, if it’s an intuition, “p equals p”, and also,” p does not equal p.”

To me this is not a description of intuition, but of one feature of intuition, the distinct felt-sense of intuition, where “you just know it’s true.” This one aspect is fairly irrelevant given the real reason anyone talks about intuition: the phenomenon of being able to know things. The common knowledge that communication takes place in incomprehensible ways.

It’s also all too easy to liken Ms. Goldstein’s example to delusional behavior, or the state a knight (“just knowing God’s on his side”) is likely to be in who joins the Crusades. One religious zealot could be sure that p equals p, and another zealot could be dead sure p equals not-p.

I assume the speaker is intuitive and has experiences of directly receiving knowledge or she wouldn’t be interested in the subject. Why not address that most interesting potential in a more respectful and meaningful-to-people description of intuition, at the very beginning?

Pueblo Dances Easter Sunday in Northern New Mexico

There are dances Sunday, and some even Monday at San Idelfonso, Nambe, and Zia pueblos. Generally, dances begin around ten and there’s a longish break for lunch, and they end around 5 pm.

One rule at dances, is that visitors don’t talk amongst themselves while the dance is going on. You might see people talking, and not realize that it’s not all right.

All the wonderful scents of spring are coming on now…it’s a beautiful drive to any of these pueblos from Santa Fe or Albuquerque, with fruit trees in bloom, and mountain views. The Rio Grande is close by.

Midnight Messages from my Magic Circle

I am always learning new things about channeling and divination in my own practice circle, and the latest experiment produced little fortune-cookie type messages of inspiration, suitable for right now. The spirits introduced the theme of what there was to smile about and appreciate for each sign. The messages are kind of simplistic, let me know if they’re fairly meaningless. Because I don’t use astrology, but am acting as a mediium for the twelve archetypes, or doing some kind of psychic reading, feedback is helpful. Read your moon and rising signs if you know them.

Aries: Especially you, of all the signs, can have a new beginning now. Leave the past behind, and 2012 will truly be the fresh, first day of the rest of your life.

Taurus: Lay something to rest. It would be some aspect of life you’re done with, you’re letting go of with a smile…all is well.

Gemini: Try new dances, even if your steps are uncertain. Give your efforts and new directions an encouraging smile.

Cancer: Indulge yourself with healing energy, weekend breaks, and much more fun…revitalize!

Explosion of fascinating spiritual growth opportunities in Albuquerque, NM

Recently I picked up two Albuquerque magazines that list events, “Truly Alive” and “Alibi”, and was knocked off my feet by the diverse and exciting offerings available right now in the Duke City.

Tomorrow I could go to a two hour class , “Healing with Tobacco”taught by traditional healer Mino Asheninko from the central jungles of Peru. If it’s a nice day, it will be held in the gardens of herbalist Bernadette Torres. (This workshop will be offered again April 15th, the date in TrulyAlive is a misprint.)

Today I missed a class that’s my kind of fun, “Reawakening the Goddess”: A workshop embodying the goddesses of Crete and Greece with drama and dance, led by Caite Mathis.”There’s three more chances to reawaken the goddess within in the coming weeks, though, click here for the schedule. This kind of class is a natural set-up for real magic!

Another unusual offering is “Lemurian Priestess Group Channeling”…an energy healing for the group and to help remember “beauty, creativity, the wonder of our lives upon the earth. What might be your Lemurian connection?” (www.starlightspiritualhealing.com) This makes me think there must be other people like me out there…one of my vivid past-life memories is of being young and female, from the lost continent of Mu, also called Lemuria, and I was lying on my back, giving birth on the beach. I was very short, especially my legs, and like everyone else, quite psychic and instinctual. Although this didn’t seem to help me as it didn’t go so well on the beach…
