What a session is like: Before you come in or call , I get ready for you by making a circle to connect first with my own guides and source of insight. At some point, in each direction I receive a piece of your story, or some significant message or feature of your life. When you come into the office or call me, I tell you what I got at first, and I might comment on the divination system of stones that were laid out for you in the preparation process.
After a prayer of intention-setting for our time together, I do a clairvoyant reading, and answer your questions that way as well as through the tarot and other divination systems.
Spiritual healing work by its nature gives rise to unique forms, yet most of it is energy-release work, energy balancing, and blessing; healing work and mediumship by request.
Mission and Background: In full-time
professional practice since 1979, Elissa's goal in a psychic counseling
and healing session is to deliver the spiritual messages each client attracts,
to help them identify their different options and what will support them, and
to help them connect with their own inner guidance. In person or over the phone,
most sessions include clairvoyant reading, guided imagery, divination with the
tarot and the Speaking Stones, and spiritual healing. Specific questions about
personal, professional, and spiritual life are welcome.
Education and training: B.A. in "Communication
Theory with an Emphasis on the Limits of Language", independent major
from U.C.S.B. Para-professional counselor in experimental program, Santa
Barbara County Mental Health Clinic, 1970-76. Director of "The Help
Center" a student counseling service at U.C.S.B. 1971-75. Psychic and spiritual training:
1969-1985, student of trance medium and metaphysician Eric Teissedre. Elissa
continues to update education regularly through workshops in the field of shamanism,
alternative medicine and healing.
Elissa also teaches continuing
education classes for professionals, and conducts intuition and healing
circles. Currently Elissa writes for The Examiner and her own blog.
